thevinylstore.com Skoda Motorsport stickers - any good?

Featured Replies

Wasn't sure where to post this. Was just wondering if anyone knew anything about this site thevinylstore.com :: Car Stickers :: Skoda :: Skoda Motorsport Decal 1 COLOUR and whether the stickers and/or retailer were any good.

Have e-mailed the e-mail address on the site to query the "1 colour only" thing - idea being if they reply then someone is there to take and deal with orders and queries. :) Although I'm still not sure if they mean only available in one colour or the whole design is printed in the colour you choose.

Tempted to get two or three. At least one for each rear window in my favorit estate. If only the stickers would make it accelerate better

Yeah, they've been around quite a while now, and the one I bought for my first Fabia proved durable. I went for an one interior fix one, on the back window.

Not sure what the '1 colour' issue is now though. My first one was red with the v of vRS in green. You may be able to just make it out in the attached photo.

Looks pretty good :) Best thing is that there is the red and the green in yours. I certainly hope they're not printed in all red or all silver etc.

Well, I'd be interested to hear their response to your question. This issue of 'one colour' has put me off buying another one for my current Fabia :)

If they reply saying design is all one colour I'll reply pointing to here about the demand for dual colour :)

What I'm trying to remember from last time (early 2005!) was if it said that in the description then! i.e. just referring to the colour of the text, not the 'v' bit of the logo

Clarification needed I think. Let's hope it's forthcoming :)

I think I have found the answer and the answer isn't good :( Here's a cache of the page made in Jan 2006 which states it is 3 colour, red green and black thevinylstore.com :: Club Merchandise :: Briskoda.Net Just won't have the same effect in one colour. They also have loads of cool stuff in the history they don't sell anymore like sun strips and reg plate covers.

Maybe if we drum up enough interest we can convince them to print some more. I'd definitely be in for at least 2. Could be worth starting a new thread about it to get "virtual" orders? Also they used to sell briskoda.net stuff, I wonder if anyone here knows the people at thevinylstore personally?

If someone more knowledgeable about the merchandise stickers side of things could start up a thread or something, pretty please :)

Good find

Yeah, that doesn't look promising. Well we now don't use them for the Briskoda stickers. Just wondering whether we can get whoever does them now, to make up some Motorsport stickers too?

Steve

They used to print a load of stuff for us on our behalf, but there was a reason we stopped using them at the time and went elsewhere for our club stickers. It was Briskoda that stopped using them, and not the vinylestore stopping the supply to us.

Not very subtle, but you could always try these! ;)

I have one in the back window.

The colour i have is RED all RED. No green VRS at all. Still looks good thoe.

I have bought the smaller sized sticker, and yes it is all red. I think it looks pretty good.

Decided to go for a chrome one off their site. Doesn't look too bad... :) Didn't manage to get it on straight though and the letters kept folding and coming off etc when applying. Might go for the Rally look and stick stickers all across the rear window on my Favorit estate :) lol
