Hi, My name is Eddie Buckley I live near Newbury. I 've just bought an Octavia estate on an 04 Plate .Ist registered on 30/07/04. Its a 1.9TDi 96 KW Version which I bought from the local Mazda Dealership. I traded in a VR6 with 135K on it. Only done one long run ini t so far and apparently got 52mpg... very impressed.

I also own an 88 944 Turbo . It a rare beast being a white (from new) Silver Rose. Normally they are a pink metallic colour. its been chipped but apart from that is a standard car 280BHP on the rollers in Silverstone

Question... I would like to fit cruise control to the Octavia what are the options and costs. Is it viable to get the local Skoda Dealer to fit OE ?

Is you car a MK1 or a MK2?

MK1 isn't too bad if you are a little bit handy with the tools and you'll need to get it coded, ideally by somone with VAG-COM.

If it's a MKII then you need to know what you are doing with it. Ideally you need a main dealer or somone that knows how to do it for you.
