The doors on my fabia is far from silent when I open them, and I was thinking about grease on the hinges - but I couldnt decide if the hinges or the arrestor-arms - or both - is the way to go, or what to use...

the plastic arrestor arms shouldn't be greased , as the grease will attract dirt and grit which will wear the plastic
