second service

Featured Replies

Well, I've just delivered my Octy for 2nd annual service at a specialist dealer [though only done 16500 miles]. Be interesting later to compare jobs done and price.

Have S reg base model Felicia, including dealer-supplied bird droppings, as courtesy car!! Quite a shock to the system.

Which dealer did you go to for an S reg Felicia C car?

Clarion, West Worthing - the courtesy car was only to get me back home, then back to them later, bit of a heap but did the job.

Ah right, they aren't a main Skoda dealer are they?

I have to use Ewhurst due to having a lease car.

No, they were main dealers up to a few years ago apparently, but rumour has it that Skoda wanted them to move and expand. They didn't want to, so they became specialist dealers instead.

Sell new and 2ndhand with pretty good deals so far as I can tell, I like the staff, and so far am happy with the way they operate. They do have all the diagnostic vag com stuff.

Can't do free warranty work but Rivervale in Portslade [much nearer to me anyway] can do so now.

Unless things change drastically I'll be happy to trade in my current Octy 2 at Clarion, when the warranty runs out next year [so long as I like whatever is on offer by then!!]

Like I say I have never used them because they aren't a main dealer but i'm glad thye offer a good service, it's a pity we don't have a full blown Skoda dealer in the Worthing area.

Agreed - however, I saved nearly

Maybe someone round here like the Yeomans group (Nissan, Toyota, Honda etc) will try and open a Skoda dealership.

Still not seen you around, keep an eye out for a black L&K estate (when it arrives:rolleyes: ) :D

Sounds good. Does that have the 2.0FSI ?

2.0TDI as it's a company car.
