I feel I have been a bit stupid. No... a lot stupid.

I had the chance to borrow an Intermotor MAF from a friend just to see if it made my Fabia Vrs any different.

I fitted it yesterday and it ran for about 25 miles without a problem. Car was no different either.

After 25 miles the emissions warning light came on, although I cannot tell any difference in how the car drives.

This morning I put the original Bosch MAF back on the car and drove to work and back and the light is still on.

Will the light go out when it wants or is it a dealer visit to investigate?

Caused myself a whole load of probs..

Would disconnecting the battery clear it?

For the benefit of everyone else who decides to do the same.

Driving to work this morning the light decided to turn itself off and car is running OK.
