Fabia SE

Featured Replies

The more i see the fabia se,the more i like it

I currently have a 55 plate vrs with 15k on the clock(registerd jan 06)

It seems that the SE hasnt sold out so i was thinking of trying to get hold of one with my car as part ex.

Has anyone got any advice on trying to get the best deal for an exchange

(ie)the least money as possible:)

work out in your head what you want for your car and don't budge an inch, walk away more than once if you have to,but leave your number when the dealer stops calling you have reached the lowest price he is prepared to sell at,keep going in and bugging him just to show you are set on buying and good luck.

yeah,your right

trouble is im a terrible hagler once the salesman starts his pitch

Im hoping that the new fabia has put a dint in the sales of the SE so a few will be kicking about that no one wants

i live in hope:D

nothing to haggling just keep walking and tell him to try harder.

There's a used one coming up for sale at a dealer in Liverpool according to the used cars section on the Skoda UK website. It's done 3700 miles and priced at

just 700 quid off, for 1 previous owner, and 3700 miles in (max) 3 months ?

I suppose the point you're trying to make is that it's 'hardly a great deal isn't it' and I quite agree.

But, if he's really thinking about getting one and his dealer cannot source one from stock, then maybe he can have a bit of a haggle on this one, which presumably has been a demo.

Just trying to be helpful...

Top Gear

blog on top gear, doesn't really tell us anything we don't already know

yes, I was shocked at the "deal", not at your suggestion.

And it's a shame Top Gear didn't even manage to find a photo of the car in the correct colour
