guys i need to respray the roof on my mk1 octy (its an ex cop car and is being let down by the roof)

How do you take the trims off on the side of the roof. The ones where the roofrack would slot in? I don't wanna break them. Thanks

They are held on by plastic clips, a suitable plastic lever should suffice. I have only removed them from estate cars and usually work from the back to the front. Go carefully as they have a thin metal section and are easily kinked.
