Can anyone tell me if my Mpg calcs are correct please?

First test - 320 miles / 34.10 litres x 4.45609 = 41.81 mpg (250 motorway - 70 about town)

motorway test - 350 miles / 33 litres x 4.45609 = 47.26 mpg

About town test - 280 miles / 33 litres x 4.45609 = 37.8 mpg

Your conversion to gallons is incorrect , 4.546 is the correct conversion figure

so 34.10 divided by 4.546 = 7.501 gallons , 320 miles divided by 7.501 = 42 .66 mpg

I think he should be able to work out the very basic equation.

i.e. in cell A1 put the milage, in cell A2 put in the fuel in ltrs then cell A3 put in the following equation

=A1/(A2/4.546)

If you need help just put those hands up in the air and say the 3 magic words "I NEED HELP".
