Just asked my dealer to go ahead and arrange the Skoda leather retrim option . Really fed up with how the seats are wearing, especially as the worst marks on the seat are from the dealer changing the seat base (but they have given a small discount on the leather).

I know there are cheaper options (e.g. seat surgeons), but Im happy with my choice, and the dealer will lend me a car whilst it is being done (as I think it will take a couple of days).

Had the car for just over a year, and done 25K, and will keep it for at least another two years, and possibly 4, so Its worth it to me to get it done (does it sound like Im trying to justify my choice :P )

I would go with the seat surgeons to. Getting the door cards done at the same time.

A much better overall look of the inside this way.

Seat surgeons all the way - mine are superb and such a bargain compared to the factory leather. Can't speak of them highly enough!!

Are seat surgeons able to retrim door cards to match the existing interior.

I love the seats in my vRS SE but the door cards are rubbish and feel cheap and nasty.

Would like to get them covered in matching leather.

Need to child-proof my seats due to impending fatherhood (you heard it here first! ) SWMBO is unlikely to let me stretch to a Seat Surgeons job - and I can hardly hide it once done - so I was wondering how much a set of Sport seat covers would cost. I realise they don't have the embroidered logos, but I'm hoping they're the same colour as the black / dark grey bits on the original seats, and so would go with the door cards...

Any ideas, or should I just buy shares in Autoglym in preparation for my repeat purchases!?!

How much do Seat Surgoens charge out of interest for a full leather retrim including doorcards? Do you have to go to them?
