Declaring points?

Featured Replies

I am looking at changing my 172 Cup to a Furby vRS as a result of getting pulled for speeding twice in the space of two weeks and my insurance being loaded by about a grand! Poo!

The first time was by the safety camera unit. I have sent my licence off to them and recieved it back with the points entered ((By the look of the handwriting a six yr old did it!) Tho' they have since written to me telling me I am gonna be summoned as i've not replied to the N.I.P! Fuggin Chimps)

Whilst my licence was with them I got pulled over by an unmarked pork waggon, the copper said as I did not have my licence with me he would have to deal with it differently (cannee remember the exact difference now), but I would still only get 3pts and

Simple answer..

You have to declare them, and any other "material facts" which might affect their decision to insure you or not, or to load your premium.

"Material facts" include any past or pending prosecutions, claims and modifications.

As I know I will be geting the points' date=' but have not actually received them yet, do I have to delcare them to the insurance companies?

Cheers for any help and sorry if i put you to sleep!

Probably you won't need to declare them until the points they are put onto your license \ you pay the fine as you don't actually have them until them. Not 100% sure though. Best phone your insurance company and ask off the record.
