Confirm bulb types for vRS

Featured Replies

Is it a H3 & H7 bulb i need?

Thinking of the Philips Xtreme +80%.

What about those Philips Rally for offroad?

Gaz

H7 - dipped beam

H3 - main beam.

You'll get some Philips Xtreme for the dip but not the main. A lot on here have 100 watt Off Road bulbs fitted for the main beam. Try powerbulbs.com for some choice.

Thanks!

I ordered Phillips Xtreme for dip & Philips Rally for Main. :D

Fabia vRS with Xenon headlights has :

D2S - low beam (xenon)

H7 - high beam (halogen)

W5W - positions

the H3 high beam is for the normal non-xenon reflector headlights!

I have the Phillips Rally H7 80W, unfortunately they've been sitting on my desk for months now since I don't have time to install them

I have also just ordered some Phillips Xtreme 80%for the dips and rally 100w for the main beam.

i hope to notice a difference on them long dark winter commutes

I have philips xtreme fitted and now my beam pattern is really wierd. I've got like two huge walls of light either side of the car.

Is this normal on the Fabia? My bulbs are seated correctly.

Any pics? I know the X-Treme bulbs are shorter than a 'normal' H7, that's one of the ways they've managed the hike in light output. This could be a reason for the difference in beam pattern, perhaps?

Steve

I will get some pics up soon. But basically I've got a normal line out in front but then at either side of the car almost in line with the headlight ive got two huge walls with loads of different diagonal lines in them going up about 15feet in the air. is this normal?
