I have replaced mine with the standard one availiable from the motorfactors. Cheaper and easier to get hold of, you just need to replace the plastic cage with somthing to raise the level of the new filter.

If you are running bio you will need to do this...

So the little weeny standard fit one is only available from Skoda?

I had one the other day and that was about twice the size. The part number supplied above cross references to the Bosch number of this same filter.

What is the something exactly lol? Is it a deeper cage that would allow me to shut the bonnet and use the deeper filter?
