is it worth fitting one on my octy mk2 turbo and are they easy to fit

I would not bother to be honest, and I double the insurance people will like them...

Just make sure you allow the car to idle for a few minutes before turning it off if you've been hammering it.

i have `one fitted on mine main reason because am straight off the motorway for home and for work. works a treat when you are late for work as i dont have to wait in or near the car just take the keys out and lock the doors

As mentioned beofe i'd check with your insurance company before fitting it.
