If it's any help I had one buckled quite bad, and my local tyre shop sent it into Leicester for me where their 'specialist' straightened and refurbished it.

After a recent low-speed kerbing, I too might be in need of a new one, although the damage is fairly minor to the wheel. The tyre has a big gouge out of it, so that will definitely need replacing.

Will have a look, but after I popped to the dealer last night, one of their guys had a look at it and said that it looked fairly minor, and that they could easily refurb it.

They asked if it was pulling or vibrating at all, and it's not....

Not only that, but they said that as the damage to the sidewall isn't through to the cords, its still perfectly legal, and I could use it as the spare.

I'm so impressed that the dealer (Farmer's, Nottingham) was this honest with me. I don't really know much about cars, so they could have quite easily have stung me for a new tire, alloy, possibly tracking.....

no not made buy audi. if you do a search the answer will be in a thread somewhere as I have read it.

Alloys in general are quite expensive anyway
