I noticed that the ARB drop links rubbers were split.

looking on VRS Stu's site he lists a modded drop link (for VRS) 6Q0 411 315G

will these fit any fabia?

The part number I have is not a modded one as such but a revised part. If you order a droplink it's what you should get unless it's been revised again.

do you think the genuine parts are better than patterned?

I would go for genuine as Stu said they are revised, are the patterned ones?

to be honest i dont think it will make a lot of difference... it's basically a piece of bar with a ball joint at both ends!
