Forge Splitter

Featured Replies

Hi i have just purchased a forge splitter valve and am unsure how to fit it.

The 3 options are

Hybrid operation

Fully recurculating

or fully atmospheric. at users risk of fault code.

If you guys could help with how you have fitted and if you have had any problems also which is best for the octavia vrs and maybe which is loudest.

Thanks in advance

I would think fully atmospheric loudest.

its a pointless buy if you want it fully atmospheric, as you can buy a cheap baileys etc for that, the reason they brought out the splitter was so that you could have a partial recirc, partial dump to atmosphere, thus causing no engine check lights and more noise then normal, you will find this will be the best combination to run in, full recirc is ultra quiet, but can be done in a matter of secs, the noise is quite loud in the hybrid mode, and im sure yourll love it, i run my remapped octy 1 with one for a few months with no worrys this way

great advice Trev ...thanks

sorry to sound stupid So are you saying Hybrid operation mode would be best thanks for the help guys

Its up to you if you want the silent approach ,fit in full recirc , if you want the blow off sound , fit as supplied in the box ...the choice is yours
