Any recommendations on remap for the octavia vrs tdi, my last 2 fabia vrs' were superchipped and both needed new turbos after 20,000miles of fairly hard continental motoring.In both cases the engine lost power if given any hard acceleration in 5th gear.Superchips say they have not had this problem before and it is not chip related.Am I expecting too much of the engines to run at high boost for say an hour our more(there are still roads in spain where you can do this).I was highly delighted with perfomance when they were running well.

There are very few people who will remap the vrs tdi, this is because of issues caused by the dpf (diesel particle filter). Superchips are one that apparently will, but others are avoiding it at the moment.

vRS TDI tuning/remapping has been a popular subject of late, use the search facility or browse this section and you'll find loads of information on the subject. The diesel particulate filter is a proverbial spanner in the works at the moment but some tuning companies are making good progress on it.
