old slide help

Featured Replies

guys i need a bit of help for my dad. he has a number of old slides for a projector and want to put them onto his comp. i know i have seen scanners that come with attachments for slides but never the slide attachment on its own as he has a scanner already. does anyone know where i could get such a thing or know a better way of doing this?

You can get a USB stand-alone slide scanner. My father in law has one; my brother used it to do a load of my Dad's slides.

I will try to dig out some more info on it for you.

If it's only a few slides I'd be happy to scan them for you.

I too have a big box of my dad's world travel 35mm slides sitting in the cupboard. Probably many of us have.

Following thread with interest :)
