I've been looking at replacing the Fabia with a SEAT Ibiza and have found one to go and see at the weekend thats within budget (just).

I'm just wondering what sort of part ex I can expect for the Fabia.

It's an 02 Reg Fabia 100PD Elegance with 112,000 miles, FSH and in good condition. I've never part ex'd a car before (or bought from a dealer) so I'm not sure what to expect. Wisebuyers says that Part ex I should get

If I understand correctly, the Ibiza Rob's found is at a dealer, so perhaps he'll approach that figure if he pushes the PX side of the deal, rather than money off the screen price....

Got to ask why dont you look at a Golf GT TDI130? These are available at the price your looking for will have more miles on the clock but the extras you will have over the Ibiza are significant.
