Leather seats fitted! - Warning large pics

Featured Replies

Have you switched your heated mirrors off yet? (see your second photo!)

Those seats are sweet...makes me wonder whether I really want brake and suspension mods so much...

How shiny is your steering wheel??? Mine's an 04 too and still looks nearly new - I mean I know I don't use it much but blimey!

Now I don't want to take this thread OT but on the BOGOF oil thing - if you do your own oil changes do you not bother with dealer servicing? I had 45k's worth of servicing paid up front, but that's gone now so I'm not looking forward to

Yes my car is out of warrenty now, so i do all my servicing myself. This is only good if you know what you are doing and arnt bothered about a Full dealer stamped service booklet.

the oil is fantastic value i pay just over

I'm no mechanic - but I'm sort of handy with a screwdriver, and I did my work experience at RAF Halton in the motor pool (15 years ago! First day - changed the drive shaft on a Metro! So much better than 99% of kids making tea in banks and estate agents!). Is the Haynes manual and the dealer description of what they do for a service enough?

I'm taking it to a normal garage (one I trust) and letting him do all the dirty work and he can stamp the book.
