They are running an item on the cleaning of an 04 plated Golf at the Auto Glym HQ. 22 pickies from start to finish.

A sponge to wash it?

And a synthetic chamois to dry (although it does recommend cleaning it first to prevent scratching).

And no mention of any waxing or other protection after the polishing.
