Hello all, Whilst fitting Sat Nav tonight I absent mindedly put my keys in the ignition to close the sunroof (it started raining).

The instrument cluster wasn't attached at the time and now the immobiliser seems to have stopped recongising the key. The car is 2003.

Is there a procedure in VAG-COM to get the cluster to re-learn the key?

You'll need the 4 Digit SKC which is on the plastic tag that comes with the car from new.

Might just need the learned values erased, in thoery it shouldnt have lost the immobilizer information.

How do I erase the learned values?

I think it is engine 01, adaptation 10 and channel 00.
