Air filter on Fabia 1.4 16v

Featured Replies

another boring help question:

being a cheque book mechanic I am a bit clueless, I have tried a search on the forum but nothing came up, can someone tell me how you get to the air filter on this model?

thanks in advance

Remove the engine cover and you will find it underneath. It is built into the cover itself, the retaining screws are all numbered, I assume in the order in which they are to be re-tightened.

You might need to be a bit "firm" with the cover (filter assembly) - it is held on with four waisted pegs that fit into four rubber donut things. Try grabbing the cover at the front to release that area first then repeat it with the rear. Also I think that you will find a small rubber pipe needs pulling off (RHS) - hope that advice comes in time!
