Central+Remote Locking Kits

Hi everyone,

I am knew to this forum and also to the world of Skoda Fabias as of about a week a go! I recently brought a Skoda Fabia Classic which I like very much but one thing I would really like to get is Remote Central Locking for it. After looking on the net I have found several kits that do the job seperately. My first question is do I need to buy a Central Locking Kit to install, and then a kits to convert Central Central Lcoking to Remote or is there a kit that does the job in one (I haven't found a kit for this thus far so I'm guessing there probably isn't).

My second question is what kit to buy. I have seen on the Skoda website that the Central Locking Kit costs

Some posts on how to do it on here - as far as i can tell all the actuators are virtually similar - first thing i'd like to know from those that have done it --do you have to use special actuators, or will any universal one do it ??(BTW ,Skoda kit does not consider rear door)
