Anyone know a good remapper in the Southwest (Cornwall) or close?

All the the big name mappers seem to be about 7 hours away!!

There is a revo mapper in newquay if thats any help.Also Richard Brothers in Redruth but i am not to sure which remap they use.

There is Performance driven in Taunton, dont know if that is too far for you? They do APR remaps with a special offer at the moment have a look Performance Parts Tuning Upgrades Engine Mods Suspension Braking

Taunton is just over 2 hours drive, so that's fine. More than happy to drive that far..

Sorry to sound like a noob but whats a "APR" remap?

I'm going to a wedding in Manchester in a few months and I see Awesome GTI are up there.... hmmmm!!!!

APR is the software that Awesome gti use so i reckon it's good, can be switchable too. As for performance driven not used them yet but will be soon so will let you know! Im after a remap too might get APR done at P driven when are you looking to have your's done?

Well it needs a service in about 2 months, so probably after that if I decide too. Need to save some pennies first! Only thinking about it... not 100% yet due to the insurance hike. Find it hard getting a good price as it is being 23.

Havent used the one in newquay but Richard brothers are good.They do a lot of cars including my friends and seem good.They now have a rolling road.They have quoted me for a remap and its quite expensive but its local so if there are any problems its easy to take it to them.

Like wise i have a few other things to sort out first so not for a while yet, maybe in the next 2-3 months.

Um, yeah but. no but.......

Going on the experience of a friend who's tuning partner took a car there recently the words "of", "****" and "shower" come to mind.:thumbdwn:

Shouldn't say too much on here (especially as it wasn't my car etc) but the jury is still out on weather the new owners can get rid of the old (bad) reputation.

And if someone is going to map my car on a RR I want to know for sure they know the car and software inside out, NOT have "downloaded a copy and we'll try it out first on your car sir"...............
