African lights

Featured Replies

According to that webiste oil.ro or whatever its called when i enter my vin and see what my car has etc it says its not fog lights but african driving lights  since when did they have fog? whats difference between fogs and african driving lights?

Me too - PFA: front fog lamps for North Africa.

Mind you, it also says I have air-con in place of standard sunroof. They might have a sunroof as standard in North Africa but here in rainy old Blighty they don't - they have air-con (climate control actually if you don't mind) to stop the windows from misting up :D

mine is semi air con wtf?

When I checked the one I am getting, it only staes six-speed automatic transmission, I hope that means it's the DSG box! it does not state DSG anywhere else though!!

Depends on the engine you've gone for - diesels get the DSG auto whereas petrols 'make do' with Tiptronic.

It's the diesel I'm hopefully getting.

Going back to the original query - I too have option PFA "front fog lamps for North Africa" and I'd love to know why they are called that.

Also does anyone know what 4X3 "sideguard" is? I guessed its the anti-ding strips down the doors.

Cheers,

Les.

I have "Leather package for China" on mine - with ISOfix (child seat anchorage) labels on the seats. In addition to my Chinese leather seats I also have"partially leather seat covering".

I think we should take some of the info from that Oil Shop site with a pinch of salt, or a drop of soy sauce!
