Hi guys,

I got a cable today and wanted to try it out tonight and have a play.

Whenever I plug it all in I get "Usb <> Serial" as the new device, vagcom doesnt have a driver for this nor does windows....

Anyone shed any light on this?

If it is a USB cable you should have recieved a driver with the cable.

Nope, Im borrowing the cable off a friend- he is selling it but was gonna have a play first.

Is there no other way to get the driver?

It's probably a generic one FDTI/FTDI or something chipset is common IIRC
