Keyfob roll up windows? Vag-com

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Is it possible to program the mk1 octavia to wind up the windows via the keyfob?

Anyone done it?

Only thing i've found is:

Many Audi vehicles can be recoded to allow this function,
Unfortunately, most VW models do not have the same capability. In order to make your windows roll up and down using your remote in most older VW models, you'll need to add extra hardware such as the

The
such as the latest Golf/Jetta/GTI and B6 Passat can have use

It should do it without the need of reprogramming with Vagcom. Next time you are with the car push and HOLD the unlock button and all the windows should come down and push and HOLD the locking button to make the windows come up!.

It's a standard feature iirc.

It ain't sorry you need a controller programmer, there's a thread in the mk1 octy section somewhere.

Failing that mluton got one working for about

you need a KVW 100 programming unit or an eeprom programmer and suitable cable (not vagcom).

Yeah that's a KVW 100 (Notes :: KVW100 Window Roll Up/Down Flash Load Module) like I said. The other method is free if you already have the equipment and instructions can be found on the internet.
