It happened to us a few times now. We were driving in Germany doing about 120 Mph and suddenly all lights came on, car kicked, computer erased all data and after a split second everything was fine.

Last time it did it also locked the doors and then unlocked again. VAG-Com doesnt show any problems.

it also says SAFE on the radio and beeps 3 times. Not like when you dont have seatbelts on. It just beeps.

I had a Xantia did something similar. All I could say for sure is that the engine was stopping and bump-starting.
