New Octavia in 2008?

Featured Replies

in shorth im new in the skoda world. I first wanted an audi a4 2.0TDI or 2.0T 4x4 but then I looked into the badge and was blown away with the quality of the cars. Plus considering that VW, Skoda, Audi, seat and Lamborgini have the same motoros I decided to go with the skoda octavia RS TDI.

Now, from what I know this model od the skoda octavia has been ariund since 2004. If thats true might there be a new model of 2008? Anyone hear/see anything

I've recently asked that of a few Stealers before order my new Car, apparently it is due a minor face lift, rounding the front end and a few other bits and pieces. To be fair they have updated the Octy since launch with bits and pieces Stream MP3 Header Unit and MP3 Input for example.

Anyway I have been told it is towards the back end of 2008 or early 2009 that the new model will be out, been told this by three different Stealers now.

I was asking specifically as they have been doing so many special offers recently and I was wondering if they were offloading current stock for the immanent new model.

Having said that my Car is a factory order anyway.

There was some information about releasing facelift (front lights would be in roomster/new fabia design) by the end of 2007/ beginning of 2008. Not really sure were this only rumors.

No new model but a facelift is likely next year as already stated :)
