is it smooth? or are there alignment pins therewhich would leave holes?

IIRC there are alignment pins which leave a couple of holes in the back

ah well was hoping i could get away with taking it off. also can you buy the skoda wording in a similar style to the octavia writing?

also whats under the vrs badge is that the same with pins or does it not have them?

Certainly are pins on the Fabia boot badge, if that's any help...

definitely holes in the boot and bonnet on an Octy, or there are are on my GLX TDi, where the badge goes, replaced the badges a month back. The glue/foam is really sticky and a pain to get off as well.

The round skoda badge has pins, the Octavia and vrs badge are simply glued.
