Just bought an Octy Ambience with 15" steelies and awful Michelin Energy tyres which make it corner like a bowling ball. I don't want to spend too much on this car as it is a stop-gap until we can afford a vRS PD170 estate next year, but I must sharpen up the handling and these tyres simply have to go. I've had cheap wheels in the past (Fox) and they buckled within a year to the point where they failed the MOT. I've never had that problem with OZ (2x sets) and so am wary of buying cheap as a false economy. What do people think of these.....CLICKY

Look good, like the style, but less than

If you only want them for a year, give them a go

If they look pants when you come to sell put the orginals back on.

Hi I have a split mint set of 17" Octavia Sport alloys, Taken off my car just 1 year old, no marks scrathes or chips. They are the 5 spoke and look really well on the MK2. 2 have brand new tyes on and the others will need changing soon. stick to Skoda wheels and your car will look the part and help your resale maybe? pm me if your interested and make me an offer? LJ, replied to your PM before seeing this. I presume when you say "Sport" wheels you mean the Pegasus alloy which is standard on the Octy Sport ? As below....
