Picture Request - Please :)

Featured Replies

Hey people, is there any chance somebody can post up a picture of a Fabia vRS, that has been lowered, by any amount. In guessing -40mm is available.

Thanks guys

-40 mm is too low for a Fabia in normal conditions.

Cheers for those. How much was the Eibach set-up, and also, how different did the handling become?

I can't remember off the top of my head how much a set of those are. Handling is improved. Also you might want to consider the Jabba Anti Roll Bar.

i have eibach springs lowered approx 25-30mm and i personally dont think it is low enough. You will see a lot of talk about a metal sump guard being needed if the car is lowered more than 30mm on coilovers, but a few people have it lowered further than 40mm and have no issues with the sump guard. It all depends on how carefully you drive your car over bumps and dips in the road. Lowering lower than 30mm is generally more for asthetics.

If you want improved handling go for the rear ARB. It is on my lst of things to do.

I have the eibach springs and oe dampers (until i get some Koni's later!) I also have the rear ARB. The handling is really transformed!! It goes round corners almost like its on rails. There is no wollowing or nose dive like with the original set up. It corners flat and no rolling. Plus it is rides over the bumps fairly smoothly with out jarring you. I think Skoda should have released the Fabia RS like this from the factory. You really will be amazed as to how different the car is. It feels more planted to the road. I think 25 mm drop is plenty enough and the wheels fill the arches nicely. You have to think of extra wear on the drive shafts if you lower it too much.

iirc the eibach set up is around

Hmmm. You just missed a set for
