twice now i have started my felly, (once at mid-day, the othertime was at night)

Its starts up then it will idle normally for about a seconsd, before it starts to idle very low at 250rpm, then it cuts out after a few seconds.

Restart and its fine!

and I have driven it in between the times it plays up, and its been fine.

Im not sure what it is because it only does it ocasionally, also if i rev the engine it stops it from idleing low when i take my foot back off the throttle.

what could this be?

i would remove the distrbutor cap and the little black plastic cup underneath and make sure the hall effect switch (camshaft sensor) isn't clogged up with ****

clogged fuel filter? they often get overlooked during servicing due to their awkward placement
