Audio connections on Edtion 100 stereo

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am about to take delivery of a Superb Edition 100 and was wondering if there is somewhere I can plug in my hard disk MP3 player. I don't need it intergrated with the steering wheel controls etc as it has it's own display with a remote control.

Any connection will do (preferably the 2 RCA connectors as I already have that cable!). It's currently plugged into the AUX socket on my Blaupunkt head unit.

Thanks for your help.

Adam

What head unit does it have, is it SatNav or normal?

You certainly won't get 2 RCA but you might be able to utilise something and use an adaptor to give the two RCA.

Didnt the superb edition 100, come with the mfd satnav (not mfd2)

Yes if it has SatNav it would be an MFD.

I would be interested in the answer to this as well, as I also have a HD MP3 Player I want to connect.

The head unit is indeed the original MFD sat-nav, I know it has an Aux In but it is on a connector on the back rather than a 3.5mm jack on the front. If someone could post a wiring diagram for the connector block on the back, or even better a photo that would be great.

Thanks in Advance.

Thanks for the info, I now am the proud owner of one of these, Audiotechnik Dietz

Although I did get mine though eBay UK Shop - Hi-Fi Links: cd, changer, ipod as my German is not great and I only found the German web site because of the branding on the packet.

The lead itself works great, giving me a good sound off of my Microsoft Zune's headphone socket. It took me a few minutes to fit using the hacksaw blade trick to get the MFD out. Because I need to press buttons on the Zune I popped out the only spare button on the centre console and fed the wires out of there, rather than going into the glove box.

Thanks again for the tips.
