Picked up my new Scout tdi today and I have to say that I'm impressed.

It goes, stops, steers well. Finished in Black Magic with Alcantara it looks fantastic.

As per previous commnts about the Scout the ride is a little fidgety but it's still lots better than the Passat Sport tdi it replaces. All in all a very happy Skoda owner.

Should this car have the DPF? I thought it was only the 170 tdi that did.

The 2.0TDI Scout does have DPF, I didn't realize this until I found the Code programme found here: VW Group Option Codes Decoder & noticed DPF on mine.

Yes - its does have a DPF, because I have one as a courtesy car. I paniced when the DPF warning light came on - which means its clogging. A blast on the motorway is needed to burn off the soot.

How high off of the ground is the Scout? I know that the audi allroad is about 180mm off of the ground. How much is this? in metric please

Suprise suprise it's the same at 180mm.

Allroad ride height can be varied thanks to air suspension IIRC...
