hi all, for the past few weeks now, after washing the wheels i have found them to very rough to touch (like overspray) would i be able to claim on the warrenty side of it.

I just did. They had to get the OK from Skoda UK, but they gave me a full set of new wheels for what sounds like the same problem.

Any idea which skip they popped your old ones into?

Into the SUK skip, to be sent back to their cave, for refurbing and distributing to warranty claim 'victims' ? :rubchin:

That they did...I did ask if they could misplace them into my boot

How long do you normally have to claim? My car is a 53 plate but I have a years warranty from when I purchased it back in May. I am going to keep an eye on them and see how they do between now and next may. I had one new wheel when I got the car as the old one was kurbed, shame they reused the old manky centre badge.

mine are starting to bubble in a couple of places, but they have never been kerbed.

wonder if i could get them fixed or replaced under warranty, car is under 3yrs old.
