Skoda Designers

Featured Replies

OK, I have a theory.

A worrying, grey-world-of-cars theory.

Every brand in the VW scheme of life seems to be becoming one design. Audi with their rectangle grille, VW with their similar chrome grille and Seat with their mad "spawn many different cars of the same nose" approach. So my worrying theory, and my question, is - Will Skoda take this approach? We've seen the Roomster/Fabia tie-in - will they do a Seat and cram a few more models out of one design?

I think the Yeti will have a similar front end but not the next Superb or Octavia.

From the spyshots, the front of the next Superb looks more like the Joyster.

did some snooping into this new Superb... looks absolutely stunning.

There was talk of a facelift to the octavia to give it the new corporate style!

It just looks like a new front bumper to me , maybe more subtle things that I'm not picking up on because I don't own an Octavia II.

Nope , you are right , that's just a different bit of plastic.

To make it look more like the furby front end would need changes to metalwork as well

Amazed by the news you can get if you look around... well done lads on the finds.

From the looks of it (bar the dodgy Octavia bumper add on) the new models are looking pretty smart... especially the new Superb. And I'm affraid to say... even the new Fabia has grown on me... Clever designers or am I easily convined? :dunce:

You are not alone!! The new Fabia is starting to grow on me too , although I will reserve total judgement untill I see the vRS and Sport (if there is one!). If the vRS has the 140TDi engine from the Golf then I will probably hang fire till I can afford one of those.
