I am thinking of buying a set of 18" wheels which have the following dimensions:

8J X 18 5X112 ET42

Will these fit an Mk1 VRS and also I was thinking of lowering the car 20 - 30mm would this be possible with 18" rims.

No they won't fit mate - Mk1 vvRS are 5x100, Mk2 are 5x112 IIRC

Ok thanks. What is the standard ET on the MK1 VRS I have been offered a different set which is 5x100 and a ET of 35.

NO.............. Unless you mess about with stud plate adapters, not worth it
