Lately my Octys right rear door has begun sounding like it is locking/unlocking the door WHILE I'm driving the car.

The central lock works fine.

Any ideas to what is wrong?

2002 Octy RS with 100k miles on the clock.

does it do it over a certain speed i.e 15 mph and have you used vag com on your car recently as there is a anti-hijack feature which locks the doors when driving .

Also I had a problem with my drivers door unlocking itself and had a new door lock fitted under warranty. Hope some of this helps.

No I havent used vagcom lately and it doesnt seem to do it over a certain speed. All I can say is that it sounds like it locks and then unlocks again. Sometimes a couple of times ... there is no pattern.

If it's not the anti-hijack, I'd suspect a wiring problem.
