Bulb warning light?????

Featured Replies

Once yesterday and once 2day iv had the bulb warning light come on but it only stays on 4 20 seconds or something and then goes, seems to come on when im stopped at traffic lights.

i checked in the book and it said;

The warning light comes on if a bulb is damaged:

  • Brakes applied (brake light)
  • in lighting (low beam and/or rear light)

A peep sounds as an additional warning signal.

The following text will be displayed in the information display

LIGHTS FAILURE

or

BRAKE LIGHTS FAILURE

I dont get either of these warning in the information display and my lights seem to be fine

Is my car just taking the p*ss out of me or cud there b something wrong?

I don't believe you have the written warning unless you have the multifunction display.. (comes with satnav option?, could be wrong..) but sounds like a brake light out to me....

if you havent got maxidot it will light up on the instruments display as a bulb, no beeps or audio sound, just a light.

deffinatly sounds like a brake light out 2me, are all the high level bulbs working?

You haven't changed to LED bulbs for some reason have you? They use less current and can fool modern electronics into thinking a bulb's blown.
