When I took my car into the dealer to sort out the oil in the water coolant I asked them to sort out this trouble with the Windscreen water bottle. When I fill it up it leaks under the driver's side front mud flap, I understand this only should happen if you flick the stalk for the jets to come on wetting the screen. The service manager checked it all out and he said it was normal??.

If you fill up the washer bottle and it's leaking (irrespective of weather you use the jets or not) then it's a fault! I think a couple of other members have had new washer bottles under warranty as they were leaking.

Bradfordfabia brother here.when he flicks the windscreen washers the water drains out normally like it does under my fabia.he's saying when the windscreen washers not being used the level in his washer bottle goes down.

i think it's just air trapped in the bottle.

The bottle is on the passenger side, so Im guessing its a leak in the pipework going to the jets if its constant.

Try popping some of Halfords own brand screen wash in, it's illuminous yellow, I am sure you will see where it falls foul.
