Hello all. Does anyone know how to get to the high level brake light. I have had a sticker made up and would like to fit it.

Yes I am aware they aren't strictly 100% legal but I had one fitted to my corsa and it passed MOT twice with it.

isn't it behind the trim inside the tailgate , the trim is a bu66er to get off though

Just pull(LIKE MAD) the grey/black plastic trim off and it snaps off, You could be very unlucky and snap it in to small pieces like i did.

Ive got a decal/sticker fitted to my brake light, never been pulled for it. The Motorway patrol quite liked it when he pulled me for my number plates.

Do you know if its the same as the Golf MK4 one? I've contacted a seller on ebay but he didnt know and requested the dimensions.

Hello all just an update Managed to get it off but broke one of the legs so superglue to the rescue. oh and damn those little metal clips. buggers they are.

Anyway I got the measurements and have contacted someone who makes these covers on ebay to see if it is indeed the same as the golf mk4 brakelight.

If all is well I shall arrange a group buy on these brakelight covers for those who are interested in them.
