Ibiza FR alloys on Fabia vRS?

Featured Replies

Hi I was wondering if anyone has fitted the Ibiza MK4 FR (facelift) alloys on their vRS? I'd be very interested to see what they look like as I quite like the look of them and a mate has just replaced his with Cupra alloys so think he may let me have them if asked nicely hopefully at the right price.

I had a play with photoshop but in 2 different Ibiza pics I found 2 different colours of wheel (probably lighting) so wasn't sure which to use. Will have a quick go and stick the pic up for you to see but if anyone already has a pic could you please share it?

Thanks

I prefer the standard VRS alloys tbh

if the vrs fabia wheels are 205/45 r 16 and the ibiza wheels are 205/40 r 17 then i can put your mind at ease that they do. i have changed my ibiza standard 16" alloys for none genuine wolfrace 17". the sizes above where what i had on.

That's right they are thanks. Just want to see a photo/photoshop of them on the fabia to see what they look like (preferably a black one).

Cheers

EDIT: See attached pic for my attempt at a photoshop. The alloys were taken from a pic of my mates car when not 100% clean so they are slightly darker then they would be for real. What do you reckon?

Could be interesting. stick some pics up if you go ahead with them!

I will do, I'm going to try convince him to let me test run them and get some pics then.

Here are a couple of pics after fitting the FR alloys:

I really like them I just need to make him an offer he'll accept to try sway his mind to sell them and sell my wheels and it'll be all good.

That actually looks really good, but I do like the vRS wheels as they are. What size are those alloys? 17s?

Looks great - now get it slammed!!!

I love it!

at first i thought they'd look terrible but after seeing the pics of them fitted, they do look pretty good!

They really suit the fab even at that height.

Nice one. How does the FR look with the fab alloys on it.

i agree it would look better lowered or as is the modern tounge " slammed to the deck"

Wwow they look really good I thought they were going to be the old style FR alloys.

Does need dropping and new centre caps though

Hmm typical of Ibiza alloys in that they have a girly offset, needs some spacers to bring them out a little I think.

HI Lummox are they not the same offset as the fabia? Does that mean I'd have to get spacers or would they work as they are? I agree though the back's could do with coming out a tad.

Thanks for all the comments I was quite suprised they looked that good when I put them on. How much do you reckon they are worth as he said he'll sell them once he finds out how much they're worth and I haven't got a clue. The car is actually lowered on Eibach Pro springs but would look better even lower. Oh and yes they're 17's.

Cheers I've looked at that thread and they all seem to love the spacers. I have no idea about all the offsets and what spacers would be required. I did many searches on SCN but couldn't find what the standard offset was on these wheels to compare with the standard vRS alloys which is ET37 which I found on here. Any idea what size spacers I'd require to get it looking how it should?

Cheers
