can anyone tell me how much of a job it is to change the headlamps in a vrs. Bought a car from a squaddie who had served in Germany, couple of weeks later checked his feedback on e bay and noted that he had sold a pair of headlamps from a 05 vrs (my car!). He had obviously replaced them with german units and not swapped them back on his return, naturally it will fail its first mot next July. Have phoned a couple of auto electric places and they have quoted me between forty and fifty quid but have stated that final price will depend on whether or not the bumper has to be removed. Annoyingly he sold the pair for thirty quid.

They take 5-10 minutes per side to change. The bumper doesn't need removing but the indicators do (one bolt).

If I were you, I would swap them yourself and then just get them set up by a suitable garage. It shouldn't cost more than
