What i have found out, you can get springs for it here in Denmark, and they are made in Denmark to, it lowers the car 35mm.

Or you can use Golf4(Read Golf5 GTI on the net somewhere) springs.

Or get AIR suspension.

And the getto mods:

Heat the spring = easy, cheap, but not road legal and very unsafe.

Cut a slice of the spring = Easy, cheap, and not legal and safe.

Find a spring with the right lenght and thichnes, get some adapters made, to let the spring fit the rear suspension.

In the front, just use regular Felicia lowering sets.

Best Regards

Morten

as above:

felicia shocks and springs for the front.

golf mk4 rear chocks and springs for the rear.

not as above:

chopping your springs can be done safely, if you know where to cut and finish the job right. heating them is part of this process in some cases.

Hi Guys, new here, generally play on Retro Rides - Classic and Modified Classic Cars as I have a thing for older cars.

How often are the pickups, engine size not that important, available for sale in the UK ?

What price to pay for a 96 1.3 ?

I would want to drop it as well, and turn it into a bottomless money eating pit, hence the tread "hijack"

Have seen one looking awesome dropped all round.

This would be the idea.....
