Torque steer, problem, or not?

Featured Replies

After my usual weekly check of tyre pressure etc, I noticed after a 'brisk' drive I have far more than the usual amount of torque steer.

I am a tad concerned, as although my 'fettled' car has normally a small amount, tonight it was very noticable.

Could it be the dampish roads, or the fact that I was giving it beans on not so familiar roads, or even the fact that my tyres are just reaching the limit of their stickability?

I am a tad confused.

I might just be in an oversensitive mood, because even my cat likes me tonight:)

probably a mixture of all the things you mentioned causing the torque steer

TBH, I notice it more in mine when its damp...

Even the cat?

It just seems odd that's all.

Perhaps the fact that I am sober for a change made me notice more........

Methinks my tracking may be slightly out, the mad wife used it the other day, and I have just noticed a new scuff on one of my wheels.

Bugger!
