Can anyone enlighten me whether or not the gear **** differs from the normal models, that is does it depict L&K in any way (vehicle build July 2007):confused:

Nope, it is a standard chrome gear kn0b on it. I was expecting some sort of difference but there you go.

I can confirm that the photographs on pages 14 and 15 of the Octavia brochure, effective from 1 July 2007, both depict the interior of the New Octavia L&K. At the time of publication, we had stopped production of the previous generation Octavia L&K and only published the List Price to allow for any remaining stock vehicles that might be in the Skoda Retailer Network.

I agree that the size of the photographs does not allow for details such as the L&K logo to be seen clearly on the gear **** and, therefore, the vehicle is best viewed at your local Skoda retailer. However, I can confirm that four L&K floor mats are fitted.

The L&K does get floor mats fitted as standard in addition to L&K metal kickplates where the door sills are.

I thought the gear kn()b got the L&K treatment but it's not the case i'm afraid.

Still, it's a cracking car and regardless of the gear kn()b it's worth getting.

The L&K model got a makeover at the start if 2007, the old L&K was an elegance with leather heated seats, maxidot display, multi function steering wheel and light assistant.

The revised L&K has pretty much every option bar sunroof, satnav and front PDC.

It also has LED illuminated door handles, L&K badging and unique "Sputnik" 17" alloys.

Thanks for info have seen the download. Pity Skoda UK brochures don't show one of their flagships in more detail.

The Global Skoda Auto site has buckets more info than the UK effort.
