As the post title suggests, is there room for an intercooler fan of some sort, to assist with the flow of air over the IC?

do a search for "pikey mods" this will show you how to vent the wheel arch liner to allow better airflow over the IC

don't think anybody has attempted to fit a fan on one though

It'll have to pull alot of air to make a difference a would of thought.

If you don't get it right it will actually impead the airflow and make things worse.

Why don't you go for a water spray a la Subaru!!!

I had a look at this a long time ago, trying to avoid the FMIC approach initially. Decided against it in the end, as it's quite a tight area, and you might as well arch vent it or go FMIC.

Venting it is cheap and works pretty well when using it on the road, FMIC is more expensive but works well full stop
