So...er...Hi! My name is Kaiser and I'm a flight-sim addict. I spend far more on my PC than my beloved Furby, and when I switch it on all the street lights dim slightly.

My passion is IL2, simply the best current combat flight-sim there is. I fly on the UK Dedicated servers hosted by BATTLE-FIELDS.COM where I'm an admin - if you're going to fly anywhere fly there as we're a wonderfully friendly bunch.

Anyway, to the point of this thread. [there's a point?]

We've just started trying our hand at air-racing, and as such needed to come up with some special racing livery. Well, only one choice for me...

Couple of briskoda logos on there, hope that's okay I've loosely based it on the Fabia WRC livery, hopefully that's apparent!

Lol, no, it's IL2:1946 - I haven't actually got FSX yet (gone off the MS flightsim as it's too 'dry').

That looks great, and sorry for being a bit thick (I only have a console gaming background) but do you use IL2 for the air racing or is there a differenet Sim for that?

Yup, we use il2 for the racing. A chap by the name of GreyBeast I think has made a load of circuits (Istanbul, Hockenhiem, Jerez), you just pick which planes everyone is going to fly and hopefully knock up some racing skins...

Any recommendations on a fairly low intensive flight sim? I used to love those sims where you only really had about 8 buttons - 4 for the up/down/roll lkeft/right and then the odd button like gear up/down, rudder left/right, and the important one! FIRE!!! ratatatatatatatata Am looking for a fairly simple old skool sim to have a play on.
